Appearance - Pours a hazy copper gold with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, mango, coconut, bready malts, citrus and grapefruit peel, and earthy tropical yeast.
Taste - bold citrus and tropical hops upfront. The mango, coconut, citrus and grapefruit peel follow suit. The bready malts, and earthy tropical yeast finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and creamy with the hops and fruits lingering.
Overall - A unique twist to the IPA by adding nitrogen to it. Steamworks delivers on all aspects of the American IPA characteristics but gives us the creaminess and smoothness from a nitro-stout. A must-try for the curious hop-hops out there.

With the fruity flavours and creamy mouthfeel, this comes off as very mellow for an IPA. The mango comes through, but I didnt pick up much coconut. The nitrogen canning makes for a pleasantly creamy brew, but this doesnt gel quite as well as you might hope with the fruity IPA, it feels a bit like two separate ideas that dont quite cross the finish line together. Perhaps brewing with lactose to make this a fruity milkshake-style IPA would help tie the flavors together with the nitro creaminess (or maybe just more pronounced coconut vibes).
Overall good, but not something I'll be rushing back to.
