Hazy pale amber color. Poured a short head that quickly dropped down to a patchy skiff. High flow of fine and low flow of medium sized bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. No lacing.
Very strong fresh peach smell. Light yeast funk and a hint of light roasted malt. Swirling the glass kicked up a light barnyard for a couple of seconds and then it returned to the previous scents.
Light sweet and sour mix. The peach is much lighter than expected from the smell; it tasted both strangely not quite like peach and watery at the same time. Mild, light roasted malt that is overwhelmed; it almost seems to have been added after fermentation. The aftertaste has a more dominant malt with a faint vegetal hop flavor. The peach starts to taste extremely artificial, even like plastic. Slow fade down leaving a light sweet and sour while the peach tastes like peach again.
Medium tongue tingling. Quickly foams up to large bubbles leaving most of it as liquid. Slightly gummy.
I'm obviously not the target market. I can see how this would appeal to someone who doesn't really like beer that much. This one doesn't taste much like a beer; it seems like a major beer ingredient was left out. The malt flavor is more like a malt powder was stirred into some fruit juice rather than being fermented.
The packaging is weird enough that I ignored this on the shelf at my local liquor store for a couple of months until curiosity got the best of me.
