Went on a Saturday for lunch. Great industrial space with lots of natural light, high ceilings & beautiful exposed bowstring trusses. Nice looking bar & several TV's. Had the beer cheese soup & fish n chips-both great. Tried 3 of 5 beers on tap and would give them an average grade of B+. Would definitely recommend and would like to go back.

This is a great spot. Up on a reasonably busy major street this still seems tucked away. I went for drinks so can't review the food although the brunch plates and snacks looked good. They have a wide selection of drinks for non beer drinkers like my wife - and they had around 5 of their own beers on tap. The high ceilings and industrial workshop look mesh well with the finely crafted bar area and cool and comfortable fixtures. Staff is friendly and attentive. Can't wait to make this a go to

really really like this place. Food was amazing. Beer is great for the start (need to get that techno Gorilla out again) Wish this was here when I lived in the neighborhood

Long awaited opening, it's finally happening. With all the extra time they were able to finesse all the details and it shows. 5 house beers, 5 guest taps.
The bar itself is especially detailed and grand, not surprising since the brewery evolved out of a bar building company. There was a crowler canning machine to fill 32 oz. can growlers. The place was pretty packed and loud with music and a huge crowd for the opening weekend.
Interior is airy and spacious with exposed beams and a balcony overlooking the dining area. The bar is the first thing you see on the right, beyond that a maitre'd stand. Service was quick and friendly, very knowledgeable crew.
Beer was solid, started with the two APAs which were ok, but the others were great (IPA, Porter, DIPA). Professional quality, nice presentation in tulips.
Food was good too, I only had the lamb scrumpets, but surely they were the finest scrumpets in the land.
Very promising, this will surely put Irving & Albany Park on the map.
Scoot down the road to Montrose Saloon and Templestowe Pub if you're feeling like making a night of it.
