Outstanding brew! Pours a dark brown/black with a full tan head. Smells and tastes of coffee and chocolate medium mouthfeel and an aftertaste dominated by coffee. Got a 6pack of this beer from the discontinued bin at Lowes Foods for $5. A true bargain!

Look: It pours very dark brown with a brown head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has aromas of chocolate with some roast and coffee.
Taste: The flavors are more roast centered with some chocolate and a very low coffee. There is some sweetness overall to it.
Feel: It is smooth and has a moderate body. The roast is fairly smooth as well.
Overall, a nice porter.

12 oz can at the 2018 Soulshine Farm Festival.
This is a very rich and roasty dark porter. No significant off notes. Near full body with appropriate carbonation. Very nice, tall head that leaves foamy lacing.

Solid English porter. Not much to go on about, but can't complain. This or the coffee amber are my go-tos if I'm there and don't want to try one of their limited releases.

Poured from can into New Belgium globe.
Nice flavors of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, char, and touch of hops. Super solid porter, with decent flavor and mouthful for a beer under 5 percent. My first offering from this brewery, and good enough that'd i'd be willing to try more.

A dark beer with a tight, tan head that leaves a nice curtain of lacing. The aroma is nice roasted malt with a bit of chocolate and coffee. The taste is slightly sweet and roasty with some char. This is a nice solid porter.

Nice pour. Black with a dark tan head. Decent retention.
Smells good, but not jumping out of the glass by any means. Roasty with that "stale" porter quality. A hint of chocolate malt.
Flavors are stronger than the aromas. A lot of roasted ashy/charred flavor up front with some bitter chocolate and carmalized brown sugar. A kiss of floral hops. That stale earthy taste is there. Everything fades rather quick though. Not much lingering flavor.
Lighter bodied. Sort of dry.
Pretty good English Porter

Came in a standard pint glass a dark chocolate brown with some ruby tinge,a thinner tan colored head atop.Aromas were light with some char/roast and mild brown sugar-like sweetness.More assertive on the palate with good roast and bitter chocolate notes,on the drier side.A decent porter, would drink again.
