X-Pat is a fusion of our English heritage and American passions. Using UK malts and American hops this IPA pours copper in color with a big hop bouquet of grapefruit, pine, floral sweetness. A well rounded malt back bone evens out the bitterness for a truly unique drinking experience.

Nice hop and malt balance. Don’t really get the flavors of grapefruit and pine they claim on the can, though.

Pours a clear gold. Straight forward IPA, slight citrus notes, touch of wheat, good hops, but bitterness doesn't linger.

A: Pours a hazy golden honey in color with light to moderate amounts of active visible carbonation along the edges of the glass and a moderate amount of golden yellow highlights. The beer has a two finger tall foamy light beige head that reduces to a couple of small patches of medium thick film (of medium sized bubbles) surrounded by a very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of herbal, grassy, and floral hops over the top of light aromas of caramel + biscuit malts.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of caramel + biscuit malts with just a hint of sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of herbal, grassy, and floral hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness. Hints of earthiness here in the finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Hints of dryness in the finish.
O: An interesting hybrid of the English & American IPAs with some nice hop flavors and aromas. A little more subtle than a lot of the American counterparts but still enjoyable and easy to drink.

Pours a pretty clear golden color with off-white head. Floral notes, citrus fruits, and grass on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied IPA. Finishes with fruit and grass.

Roommate and I both bought a six pack of this and couldn't finish it. Not a great IPA by any standard

Pours a deep honey red with a minimal head. Decent lacing, not much nose. Taste is a piney/herbal West Coast type of IPA with a dank earthy aftertaste and strong lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is solid, not thin. Good carbonation.
