Pours a bright clear orange with medium carbonation. Aroma is boozy sweet malt and taste is much of the same. Very pleasant sipper that isn't too sweet but contains all the complexity you'd expect in a barleywine.

Had on tap. Very murky orangey brown with a tan collar. Aromas of booze, toffee, toasted caramel, cocoa, soggy dark bread and various dark fruits especially date. For a style that usually has reserved smell, this one brings it. Taste is not as complex given the heightened presence of the booze, malts still vibrant though. A warm sipper in the feel, very chewy, malty and boozy, almost a little bright too
