Their first entry in a monthly Hop Anthology Series which is aggressively hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo, Columbus and Centennial and inspired by some of our favorite Northeastern-style IPAs. IMHO, this one is more an East-coast IPA vs, the NEIPA style...tasty nonetheless!

Transient - Double New England IPA – Fortnight Brewing Company, Cary, NC
This is my second beer of choice from the Fortnight Brewing Company. The Transient is a 7% Double IPA with 100 International Bitterness Units. This beer was hopped with Simcoe, Amarillo, Columbus and Centennial hops. I detected a touch of earthy flavor in this one, almost like it was a hemp beer. The Transient is the first entry in their monthly hop anthology series. Overall, the All You Need is Hops and Transient were both solid, local IPAs. I can’t wait to review more of Fortnight’s non-IPA beers. I will give the Transient a 7.8 out of 10.0, and this beer is not on Beer Advocate yet, so I will add it.
