Visited with Da Boss today 7-15-22 after a little hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Vibe inside was nice, dark rustic bar with seating for maybe 30-40. Outdoor space was bigger accommodating maybe 75-100. I could see how nice it would be to sit on the deck ion a summer night listening to some music.
Quality of the beers are good. I have not had anything earth shattering but i can say with confidence i really like the consistency of their beers, especially the IPAs.
Service at the bar was very friendly. Did not test her knowledge but was engaged with the orders i made.
Selection was very good as there 25 handles there hitting all the major base styles of beer plus there was cider and kombucha available.
There is a permanent food truck on location and i have to say the burgers we had were excellent as were the fries - would rate them 4.5.
Overall definitely worth a visit if you are in the Sylva area!

Innovation is my favorite brewery in Sylva. Walking distance to restaurants downtown and three other stellar breweries.
Cool outdoor seating by a creek.
Beer tenders are knowledgeable and friendly.
Great ales and IPAS.

We go here sometimes for lunch because their brown ale got me, and I have kept trying some others throughout the year. I I liked their pale Ale, and a few others with mostly good results. Bartenders have always been nice and informative, and since I go when it's not crowded, they keep close attention. However, the restroom situation is terrible. It's impressive they make their many varieties of beverages in a tiny brewery as this. Glad they exist and that they are thriving. Drop in if in the WNC.

Very nice little brewery in the small town of Sylva, NC. I tried several brews and finally took with me the Black Balsam and Two wheelin imperial stout.
I like the place, very small, rustic bar with a few small tables and a food truck outside, It was a cold winter with temperatures between 15 and low 20°. Even though is in a very small town, the vibe is great, beer selection not huge but a couple of beers are really worth to try. Not so many places to go if you are in the area, so you'll definitely be here and I'm sure you'll find something good.

Small but cool place, went on a jazz Thursday. Three piece band. Food truck outside serves the best burger around.

Overall I was not very impressed. I went while they were having keg line issues, so lots of beer was off. The selection was extensive but several choices were N/A for me. I thought the beer was pretty average, nothing really good. It is right next to a trashy looking creek and overall was not very clean.

Second stop on the "Bro's NC Brewery Tour"...Visited with Bro, Bob Shields and Spanky the day before we rode the Dragon's Tail in Deal's Gap. Cool spot in the little town of Sylva. Good selection of good beers.

Visited on a Weds afternoon around 5 pm. The place was packed, so I figure that speaks volumes about the quality. They also had a band playing, which i'm not sure if that added to the crowd or not. Nice outdoor seating area with a food truck, that seemed to be where most of the action was. Inside was more seating, a few booths and tables, and an L shaped bar. I was surprised by the number of beers they had on, plus a couple guest taps. This was a fun brewery spot with a bit of that "Asheville" vibe, I would definitely go back.

For just over year on the scene, they have done extremely well to offer as much variety as is on tap. Beers range from good to very good. Food truck on site, river flowing 28" away, attentive staff, 24 taps, I just need a hammock.

Small brewery with a large and varied selection of taps 9 beers listed as "mainstays" and another 11 (was 12) specials. 22 taps available. I have tried 8 (they have flights of 5) and all were good to excellent.
Booths, tables a nice bar inside, plus a small creekside patio out the door. Excellent service. Chill vibe.
Well worth going a bit out of the way to visit this brewpub.

What a great brewery!!!! Everything i drank was solid. Kiwi berliner weiss, bourbon barrel pumpkin, oatmeal raisin cookie were all standouts. Both their ipa and dipa were simply amazing. I would put those two up against every dipa and ipa in the carolinas. All of the standard styles were spot on and had incredible mouth feels. Simply put, these guys are killing it!!!

Wonderful place perched on a bluff overlooking a rough looking creek. Wow, what an array of suds! No in-house grub but there is a food truck outside with decent comestibles. Very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. When in the area make it a point to visit. I especially liked the Berliner Weisse.

This is an excellent recent addition to the downtown Sylva area. I visited for the first time a couple months back and find myself going back on a weekly basis. I counted roughly 18 active beers on tap when I visited last week. The beers vary, my favorite beer is the Double IPA but they were sold out of it the last couple of times I was there. They also do a good job of infusing fruits and other flavors into their beer to create a good variety. I have tried their Wild-berry blonde, Black IPA, ESB, Belgian Tripel, lite and so on. They have something for everyone. They don't have any food on the inside, but keep a food truck on the outside so you can make a dinner date out of it.
