I drink a lot of Belgians. Didn't care for this all that much. A little tart up front, more like a farmhouse ale. I eat a lot of apricots and I didn't really sense them in this although there is a definite fruit funk going on. Not a bad beer overall, just not one I'll seek out again.

Had this on 2018-02-03 in Lemont, IL at the brewery
A - Hazy gold with short white head
S - Mild Belgian yeast, candied apricot
T - Much like the smell but with a blast of tart apricot. Very nice.
M - Medium body and light carbonation. Lightly sticky at first then dry.
O - Well done. Would have again.

20oz draft pour into a stein shows a hazy golden yellow body and floats a fluffy 1/2in white head leaving lovely soapy lacing.
Aroma is fruity yeast with apricots and the flavor matches with a strong apricot aftertaste.
Mouthfeel leans heavy and clean with slight remainder. Not dry and not oily, but appropriate.
Overall a very good example of the style without the giant rocky head.

12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Had 1/18/17.
Pours a hazy, yellow/orange, with a short head and some soapy lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, Candi sugar, light apricots, bread, a little funk. The taste starts with the Belgian yeast, then, like the label says, a whole lot of Candi sugar, a light hop bitterness up front, a sweet note on the finish. Apricots hit midway through the finish and linger in the aftertaste. Refreshing, smooth, a decent body, an appropriate level of carbonation.
The Candi sugar kind of overwhelms the apricots. This is a solid beer, but not very well balanced.

Pours little to no head, could use more carbonation. Smells bready, fruity, properly Belgian. Very sweet up front, fading to a sour and boozy finish. Overall an interesting brew from Pollyanna, but doesn't stand up to their other offerings.
