At its core, “play” is a simple, straightforward word. Meaning, an “activity engaged in for enjoyment and recreation,” beer drinking is pretty much the adult version of “play.” Sometimes, beer drinking is over-analyzed, over-hyped, or over-dramatic and we think that’s totally played out. Our Ludic Lager is playful and simple, but serves as a reminder that there is excellence in simplicity. Brewed with a base of German Vienna and Pilsner malts, this Vienna Lager is crisp, clean, and easy drinking with a touch of residual sweetness from German specialty malts and a hint of lemon thanks to French Strisslespalt hops

Had on tap. Dark clear amber pour, thin beige head with lacing. Caramel and toffee malts with grains and mild hops in the nose. Taste is about the same though not as sweet as the nose, lemon and grass make an appearance on the finish. Feel is full, smooth yet interjects with graininess and kisses of hops.

A dark amber hazy body floats a 1/4 inch light tan disappearing head.
Floral aroma with sweet notes.
Great malt- hop balance and repeatably drinkable.
Light mouthfeel and low carbonation.
