Tasted in a snifter from draft at Firkin on April 19, 2018. A collaboration with Lucky Dorr. Named after the famous Ernest Thayer poem, "Casey at the Bat." This hoppy red ale is brewed with flaked rye and a sturdy malt backing to balance the intense whirlpool additions of Chinook, Cascade and Willamette hops. Expect flavors and aromas of toasted bread, caramel, spicy rye, resiny pine and floral grapefruit.
