Had this on 2018-02-03 at the brewery.
A - Opaque dark brown with a tan head and nice lace.
S - Light roast. Honey and chai.
T - Sweet dark fruit, medium-dark roasted grain. Dominant chai flavor. There's some balancing roasted bitterness but the dark fruit sweetness and chai triumphs in the finish.
M - Medium body and light carbonation.
O - A very tasty brew but I quite prefer the Imperial Oak version with maple.

Draft pour to snifter, near black, no head. Rich wood and bourbon nose, some roast malt. Taste brings the basic expected flavors with mild spice background. Above average body and below average carbonation.

Taste: Spicy, big bourbon, oak, woody, notes warming alcohol roasted malt. Same with the slight boozy nose. Black with some reddish hue, mostly opaque, with a delicate head and refined nice lace. Full body but not a bit heavy. Aged in Old Forester Bourbon Barrels for a year. 30 IBUs
