Taste: bold maple, earthy, sweet, chocolate, toasted, salty, some airy fizz in the finish. Same with the nose.Black, opaque, super tall foamy head, maybe this bottle was past it's prime. Full body. will have to try on tap someday.

16.9oz bottle recently bottled poured into a staged pint glass shows a dull murky brown and supports only a random collection of gurgling carbonation eruptions from the deep and leaves a clean glass behind.

Aroma is glorious sweet maple syrup with nuts and chocolate and the flavor matches.

Mouthfeel is slick and smooth and almost coats the tongue leaving a longing for waffles.

Overall it's a great dessert beer. Don't hesitate to add ice cream. Another great addition to an adjunct milk stout.

16 ounce bottle into a snifter. Had 2/1/18.

Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with a one inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Kind of cola looking. Aromas of maple, malt, peanut, chocolate, vanilla, some caramel, a hint of lactose. More or less tastes the same as it smells. Maple, vanilla, malt, peanut, chocolate, caramel, light cocoa, a little salty on the finish. Smooth, somewhat creamy, a good medium body, appropriately carbonated.

Yum. While the ratings aren’t extra special, this is a fun one to drink. Everything that’s promised on the label, comes through quite nicely in both the aroma and flavor. The maple is the star.

Had this on 2018-02-03 in Lemont, IL at the brewery and again on 2019-02-02 in Columbia, PA from a fresh 500ml bottle.

A - Opaque dark brown with a very short tan head and very nice lace.

S - Bombastic amount of maple!! Mostly overwhelms the peanut butter, cocoa and vanilla in the base beer; but that's OK!

T - BIG maple up front and more sweet than the base beer, which features medium-dark roasted grain, vanilla, very light peanut butter, semi-sweet chocolate. But mainly, this is a maple bomb with a roast stout finish.

M - Medium body and light carbonation. Smooth.

O - I love maple. I love this beer. At 6.1% ABV it's amazing.
