A not so “Fun Size” treat, we aged our milk stout with twice the amount of peanut, vanilla bean, cocoa nib and sea salt in bourbon barrels for 10 months. The result is truly king sized!

Pour is black with a fizzy light cinnamon head. Pour retention. No lacing. Nice legs, though.
Nose is chocolate, subtle salt, bourbon, more chocolate
Taste is quick hit of chocolate, before a wave of bourbon. Follows by rich, dark chocolate, sea salt, peanut butter, vanilla, roasted malts
Medium plus thickness. Creamy body from lactose, lingering chocolate / roasted and salted peanuts.

Very rich, very dark lots of fudge. Not too much barrel. Would’ve liked a bit more but an outstanding smell and flavor

Pours a dark brown with almost no head and no lacing.
The smell is sweet chocolate and caramel.
The taste is chocolate, caramel, marshmallow, with char on the finish and tons of booze.
The mouthfeel is medium body and low carbonation.
Overall, this is really enjoyable, good flavors, sweet but not sweet.

Had this on 2020-02-28 near Pittsburgh, PA from a 2019 bottle.
Delicious, rich, fudgey, coconut, hint of oak and bourbon. Super thick mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Shared with Alex. We both thoroughly enjoyed it.

16 ounce bottle into a snifter. 2018 edition, had 1/24/19.
Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a half inch quickly dissipating foamy head and some soapy cling. Aromas of peanuts, milk chocolate, cocoa, tobacco, bourbon, raisins, oak, char, prunes, light vanilla, a little smoke. The flavor shows more bourbon than the aroma, milk chocolate, vanilla, peanuts, malt, cocoa, some tobacco and oak, some raisins, light figs, sea salt as it warms. Smooth, a little creamy, a solid full body, well carbonated.
Terrific aromas and flavors, all the add- ins show well- although the peanuts fade as it warms. At its best when fully warmed. An impressive job of more than doubling the ABV of the base beer, but still retaining its charm and identity. Well worth a purchase when it comes around.

Had this beer on tap at Orange and Brew. Overall this was a good beer but I'm find so many of these pastry stouts just way overly sweet for me. I thought the barrel aging would cut through some of the sweetness but that really wasn't the case with this one. It's good for what and it does have an image of a candy bar on the can so I guess I shouldn't have been to surprised.

Look - black with tan head
Smell - smells super sweet
Taste- wow! First sip is sweet to the mouthful, and after it’s down, that goes away and the barrel taste comes in and changes every taste bud in the mouth.
Feel - again come on sweet at first then turns to a boozy barrel taste.
Overall - it’s a sweet stout with plenty of booze in it. Wish it was more balanced out. I think this stout is not as good as others from its overly sweet start.
4-pack can collab with Binny’s pour into tall glass.

Apparently a very different beer from regular-Fun Size. Okay.
Pour is dark ruby, medium fizzy, no real head.
Aroma is one of the most aggressively chocolatey I've ever come across in a beer. From a good 2 feet away from my face right now, it smells like a dark chocolate bar. Coming closer... it doesn't get too intense; it just smells like smoother, milkier chocolate.
Tastes pretty good. More complicated than the aroma, not fully as well-rounded as the aroma. Deep, sweet chocolate up front--a wonderful start--getting a bit sharp and alcoholic in the middle, without any roasty or sweet nodes to balance things out. Finishes like a strong, boozy stout, only with some lightly medicinal late-aftertaste that just's a bit offputting.
Overall nice, like I said, but not nearly what the aroma promised.

500ml bottle. Overall I thought this bottle was missing the milk chocolate, barrel and lactose that I was expecting. There is a slick, dry flavour on the backend that is suggestive of an unintended process, if that makes sense.
