Tasted in a snifter from draft at O'Toole's on December 18, 2018. Silky smooth double oatmeal stout brewed with chocolate, vanilla and orange. Worth a try.

A yearly fall collaboration with Imperial Oak, this double oatmeal stout is given different treatments by each brewery and on release date the sales and silent auction funds are used to support men's health issues.
Pollyanna added chocolate, vanilla, and orange to the collaboration base to make their variant and another portion of the base was aged in Jack Daniels whiskey barrels without added flavors for the BA variant served on nitro.
Look is a dark, opaque, mahogany brown allowing slight hints of cola colored light at the very edges and briefly floats a 1/2in cap of cocoa brown tight bubbles that quickly disippate to an edge hugging ring and leaves an erratic spotted lacing.
Aroma is chocolate forward with tart, bitter orange rind above the roast malt.
Flavor is almost reversed with the vanilla jumping in and the orange citrus coming through more clearly over the chocolate.
Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy just like an oatmeal should be and a clean, almost drying finish.
Overall, perfect for the cooling temps and falling precipitation.
