Taste: Smooth oak, brandy notes, toasted, semi sweet, bready, sticky mouthfeel, woody wine notes too. Same with the nose. Reddish mahogany hue, clear, very small head. Medium body. Warming finish. 27 IBUs

Had on tap. It looks like a begian dark ale, with proper coloring and even pretty white lacing on the surface, but that is where tradition ends. Smell is grape brandy, brown sugar, fruity toffee and fruit cake. Taste really embraces the grape fruit cake theme, with boozy fruit and bready belgian yeast and malts. Grape brandy is a powerful aftertaste on this one, hello! More tart than sour, and decently sweet. Body is a touch thin, but another fun beer in the series
