Double India Pale Lager
Sometimes, the English language just doesn’t have a word for something. There are words like YOLO, twerk, and OMG, but for some reason there isn’t a plural word for “you.” Sorry, but “y'all” or “youse” or even “you guys” doesn’t quite fill the lexical gap. This time around, we busted out lager yeast and Mosaic hops to bring youse guys (see what we did there?) a Double Lex-Zwickel version of our already straight West Coast-style IPA. Brewed with massive amounts of Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe hops, finding a word to describe your gratification might be pretty tough. Most expletives, however, will probably suffice.

The style was difficult to choose, as there is no option for Double India Pale Lager, as identified on the label. Lager yeast and mosaic hops rif on their Lexical Gap IPA.
16oz can poured into a pint glass shows a clear, amber yellow body with a constant flow of bubbles rising to a white 1/2" cap of mixed-sized bubbles. A sheet of bubbles runs back to an edge-hugging ring and leaving erratic spotted lacing.
Aromas of grapefruit juice and pith, orange, peach, biscuit, pine, and citrus.
Flavors match with powerful citrus enveloping the palate, balanced with a biscuit malt. Scary there is no hint of the abv.
Mouthfeel leans full, clean, and drying.
Overall a great lager.
