Our massive, dark as death, Russian Imperial Stout aged for 10 months in Weller Bourbon Barrels with a truck load of vanilla beans and Tugboat coffee. Anger and hostility complexes await you, dear beer lover, for this Russian Imperial Stout was not meant for you. Meant only for those that live a life of separation and those that sit in the dark by choice, this deep, mysterious, black as death beer will haunt you at night, leave you weeping in your sleep, and remind you that manners mean nothing to a corpse. Like traveling through the bonfires of Hell, each sip serves as a reminder that you do not belong. You, dear beer lover, are not worthy.

L: Pours a thick, oily black, small tan head fades quickly to a ring, no lacing, but an oily film on the glass.
S: Vanilla dominates as soon as the can opens, coffee, and bourbon, hints of cocoa.
T: Very flavorful, vanilla, coffee and bourbon.
F: Thick, creamy mouthfeel, abv well hidden.
O: I really enjoyed this at first but the vanilla and coffee, got a bit old after 8 oz. I would love to try this without the vanilla or coffee. Still, an excellent beer.

This beer pours out like syrup and is as dark as the night. Both amazing qualities. The smell was a bit overwhelmingly vanilla. It felt as thick in the mouth as it looked and had a nice sticky quality about it. The taste was very barrely but the vanilla mixed in well

Draft pour into snifter.

Thick black like oil from a Mack truck. Thin Mocha head. Gentile lacing.

Immediate Bourbon barrel aging jumps out of the glass permeating olfactory senses. Strong and welcome.

Coffee and vanilla beans flow smoothly on palate, high boozy finish. B barrel taste inescapable.

Any Russian imperial stout drinker should get your hands on this nectar.

Delicious.

Viscous black body, frothy brown head. Smell is actually led by chocolate and vanilla more than anything, coffee, bourbon, toasty oak, and earth backing up. Taste has the coffee in the spotlight with agressive earth and char, chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon linger. Want more barrel, but still a very good imperial stout. Feel is robust from the coffee before brightening up with the cool vanilla especially, booze is present but not formative

16 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 9/23/20, had 10/9/20.

Pours a dark brown, opaque, with a short, quickly dissipating head and sparse, spotty lacing. The aroma starts with dominant, great smelling coffee, malt, vanilla, chocolate, a little bourbon as it warms. Flavors of coffee- less than the nose but still substantial, some bourbon, malt, chocolate, vanilla- more as it warms. Smooth, a very good full body, well carbonated.

The Tugboat coffee is great, the vanilla is solid, but those wonderful Weller barrels don’t shine as well as they could. But, overall, everything pulls together well. Very enjoyable.
