Annual Movembeer Double Oatmeal Stout collaboration with Imperial Oak and this year: packaged to go.
16.9 oz bottle poured gloppily into the branded glassware shows a deep, dark, headless, mahogany brown body that leaves a clean glass behind.
Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, and whiskey float through the air drawing you in for a taste, and the flavors match with some back of throat warmth and a tongue-coating smooth oatmeal feel.
Overall another solid year, sadly without the trolley.

500 ml bottle into a snifter. Released 11/20/20, had 7/31/21.
Pours a dark brown, opaque, with no real head and a little foamy lacing. Aromas of vanilla, chocolate, rye whiskey, malt. Flavors are about the same- vanilla, rye whiskey, malt, some chocolate, a little oak, a faint cola flavor. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
The vanilla is the star, with supportive barrels. Certainly good, but didn’t like it as well as the straight barrel aged version.
