500ml bottle into a snifter. Released 11/20/20, had 6/11/21.
Pours a dark brown, mostly opaque, with a short head and a little slick, soapy lacing. Aromas of rye whiskey, oak, char, tobacco, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, molasses. Flavors of rye whiskey, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, molasses some raisins, light tobacco. Has a light bitterness. Smooth, a very good lighter full body, appropriately carbonated.
Solid effort with this one. Excellent barrels and a terrific aroma- and the taste is almost as good. Very enjoyable.
