In comparison to the Rye Whiskey, this bourbon version is darker, and swallows more light than the rye, but the viscous, oily, and still creamy feel is the same.

Aromas evince a symmetric dance of toasted coconut and bourbon with roasted malts providing the beat.

Again, like the vanilla version, it threatens sweetness yet the bourbon and roast rein it in. Letting this warm from the fridge is required as the chill keeps aroma and flavor tied up in a ball. Warmth allows the full expression of roasty cocoa bean to coat the toasted coconut while resting on a biscuit.

Overall these two limited barrel aged stouts are a well integrated expression of the style.
