Alluringly tart and fruity, these sour wheat beers are loaded with fresh fruit enhancing their already magnetic seductiveness. Enchantingly light in body and effervescent, we sour these German-style Berliner Weisse beers with lactobacillus in the kettle before adding mounds of fresh fruit. Refreshing and easy drinking, these beers rotate throughout the year are are perfect for any sour lover.

16oz draft pour into a snifter shows a dull yellow-orange, cloudy body with merely an edge-hugging ring of tight white bubbles. Agitation creates sheets of lacing that race back to the edge, leaving the glass clean.

Aroma is tart lemons all the way and encourages a sip that is unrequited. The flavor is tart lemon, but just doesn't quite provide that sour pucker expected from lemonade, or from a kettle sour, for that matter. Good, but ...

Mouthfeel is light, if slightly syrupy, but clears the palate cleanly.

Overall they have better Allure variants.
