Our first foray into the Czech side of lager. A dark lager at a lower ABV, this is meant to be a mass consumed beverage with more flavor than the Czech Pils or Pale Lager counterpart. Hopped with a hefty dose of Czech Saaz and a light roasted malt presence is balanced by a round and malty body featuring an array of Bohemian malts. This beer leans much more Czech than most American versions.

Wonderful aroma. Bready, malty and really fresh. Very aromatic. 1”+ caramel colored foamy head. Taste is perfect for a dark lager, as it has that bold malt forward flavor. Thinner mouthfeel than expected. But I’ll order this again.

Clear brown pour, big soapy looking tan head. Aroma is mostly roasty. Flavor has some fruit, and roasted grain. Thin, well carbonated. I'll have another.
