Appearance - Pours an amber with two fingers of bubbly white head that quickly recedes.
Smell - earthy, leafy, and floral hops, bready malts, vanilla, hint of dark fruits, and lager yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, and floral hops upfront then goes quickly into bready malts. The vanilla, hint of dark fruits, and lager yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes creamy with the malts and dark fruits lingering.
Overall - An enjoyable malt forward märzen from Olds College. A nice find at one of my local shops I frequent. This one is a fine tipple for this mild evening here in Cowtown!
