Appearance - Pours a jet black with four fingers of frothy mocha head.
Smell - earthy and leafy hops, cocoa, milk and dark chocolate, coffee bean, roasted malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy and leafy hops upfront then quickly goes into the cocoa, milk and dark chocolate, and coffee bean. The roasted malts and earthy yeast finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and creamy with the cocoa, chocolate, and coffee bean lingering.
Overall - A flavourful stout from Olds College. This one definitely ticks all the boxes of the style and is great representation of the style. Great job on this one!
