dang! this is one good ipa, cant believe how good it is really. these guys really surprised me, and this was maybe the best beer i had at creede. already cant wait to go back. very pale in color, and hopped primarily (or exclusively, i cant remember) with a numbered experimental hop varietal. it looks almost like a pilsener, surely no weird heavy coppery malt standing in the way. the hops are really tropical, but they arent fruity if that makes sense. more citusy than citra, but also dry, and seemingly much lighter in the oil content, at least in this brew. i love the nose and taste, the hop character is familiar but also unique, its like some of the new zealand ones i wanted to be more pungent turning on in this one. carbonation is nice and bright, keeping the beer refreshing, and with such a light malt base, its almost impossible to tell its as strong as it is, and you can get into trouble real quick on these. astonishingly good for a brewery i had never really heard of. super impressed with their whole operation, and this may well be the best ipa in denver right now. it definitely has to be in the conversation.
