Another great beer from HBW. I wasn't a big fan of their beers initially, I thought they were a bit bland, not much flavor profile going on. Recently though, they've been hitting some home runs. This one is no exception. Sure, it's not perfect (a bit thin in the mouthfeel area), but the flavor and aroma are great. You definitely know it aged in bourbon barrels. Strong presence of bourbon that melds well with the South Shore Stout.
