A celebration of friendship and camaraderie. For this collaboration we wanted to brew a light, easy drinking beer that everyone could enjoy. We took a classic Belgian Wit, punched up the citrus by using freshly grated grapefruit zest from Village owner Tim Goldenʻs family farm on the North Shore, and added a splash of local pineapple. The extra citrus is balanced out by a light spice note of coriander that finishes dry and refreshing. Bright, hazy, and crushable (itʻs only 4.8% ABV) this is a beer to enjoy with friends and to celebrate being in Hawaii.

A: The beer is a little hazy light yellow in color. It poured with a collar of medium-sized white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pineapple are present in the nose.
T: The taste has light flavors of pineapple and grapefruit along with notes of wheat and hints of coriander spices.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The use of pineapple and grapefruit in lieu of orange peels make this to be an interesting take on a witbier. I liked how the fruits weren't overpowering as you could still taste the coriander spices and hints of the wheat.

Pours hazy yellow-orange with a thin white head that left no lacing. Smell is on the mild side with some yeast, wheat and spice. Tastes of wheat, yeast, pepper and a hint of citrus. Not getting any of the grapefruit, pineapple or coriander. Light bodied and carbonated, crisp and refreshing.
