draft at the brewpub, reviewed from notes taken awhile back
a: served in a full pint glass, tugboat rye is a deep copper color in the dim barlight, topped with a finger of off-white head
s: the nose features some muddled toasted malts with a moderate sweetness, touches of rye spice and complexity, some moderate citrusy hops
m: carbonation and body both in the moderate range
t: deeply toasted malts, some sweetness, and a healthy bit of rye, hops fairly plain with some citrus rind, lightly bittered, clean
o: not a bad beer all told, just a little on the plain side and not particularly memorable

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
