12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden amber color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of roasted malt, caramel, spices and toffee. Sweet toffee, caramel, spices and earthy notes.

A fine malty ale with a quite welcome hoppieness, true to the can tagline it is a 'Cozy Malty Crisp Embrace'.
Highly recommend.

First beer at the tailgate. Warming much needed for 28 degrees. Solid rendition.

This is a fine winter warmer! Poured from 12-ounce can into a tulip glass. Body is the color of dark amber maple syrup, with a rather aggressive pour yielding only half a finger of light tan head. Good carbonation, medium bodied. Aromas and flavors of roasted malt, caramel, molasses, and dark fruit (prune, raisin, black cherry). Good alcohol warmth, which I absolutely love. The finish is slightly dry and a little astringent, with a bit of fruity sourness lingering on the palate. Another solid offering from an excellent brewery.
