I tried this beer at Dixie's in Decorah, Iowa as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had bold vanilla and cocoa notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with vanilla, cocoa and caramel creme presence. The mouthefeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
