Poured from 12-ounce can into a tulip glass. Black and syrupy, with a thick tan head that settled to a tiny ring. The aroma is captivating: sweet chocolate, gingerbread, and baking spice, with notes of bourbon barrel that carry over to the palate. I allowed this to warm up well past fridge temperature and everything is on steroids including the alcohol warmth. All of these aroma and flavor nuances are due to the barrel aging and the amburana wood, not additives. That makes this an absolutely stellar example of the brewers' craft. Slow clap on this one, gents. It is a masterpiece.
