Stopped in here to check them out and grab some cans to go while visiting family in the area. The brewery and taprom is a little out of the way, on the edge of Apex, NC, in a non-descript industrial area. The taproom is fairly small, but nice, and has the usual wood and bare concrete look, and a window into the brewing area. There is also seating outdoors in a grassy area next to the building, which seems to be the most popular option. On the Saturday afternoon I stopped by there was a food truck and live music by a country performer.
The bartender was polite and efficient. He was not having a hard time keeping up with the small crowd of customers who were enjoying the music. There were 14 beers on tap and a good number of them available in 4- and 6-packs in a chiller near the bar. They also had 32 oz and 64 oz growlers available. The quality of the beers is above average for a brewery of this size. I had tried an excellent barrel-aged Brueprint beer on a previous trip to North Carolina, and I was eager to try more when I found out they were located near my family's home. I was not disappointed with the cans that I took home.
Definitely try Brueprint beers if you can find them, or swing by and sample them here. If you're lucky it will be a beautiful Spring day with live music playing, like it was for me today!

Nice, small taproom. Had a very nice tap selection and to go can options. Outdoor space with fire pit was great. Bartender was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed his selections for the tasting flight. Glad I stopped in.

I finally made it by for a visit. This is now the closest brewery to my house so it was long overdue.
They're tucked away in an industrial park. Nothing about the area says beer until you get into the front door. The tap room has decent space with a bar in the back and a window to the brewing area on the left. The vibe was great and the crowd had a very local feel. Overall it's small but they do a lot with it.
They had a surprising seven beers on tap! We did a sampler of all of them which included a pale ale, amber, brown ale, scotch ale, IPA, wheat and strawberry/blueberry wheat. I was very impressed! None of them blew me away but I liked them all (though I could have done without the strawberry/blueberry wheat).
I'm not so sure about including "Brue" in every name and I look forward to them moving beyond plastic cups but I really liked this place. If they're this good so early on, I have very high expectations for them going forward. And I'll be close by to enjoy the results.
