This might be the best red ale I have ever had. Smells like your standard amber but with a more inviting hop aromas. The taste however is not overly hoppy. Instead it is caramely and features a biscuit-like character, with hints of woodiness, toffee, and a robust finish, almost like rye but a little more metallic, but in a good way. This is a very full bodied amber, almost creamy
