Pours a rich amber hue. The look-you-in-the-eye malt flavor, balanced perfectly with confident American hops, produces a full-mouth of taste with smooth finish.
The name Hectic is a nod to author and columnist, Roi Ottley's column, Hectic Harlem, which he wrote for the historic Harlem-based newspaper, The Amsterdam News.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellowish amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a narrow collar around teh edge and a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts are preset in the nose along with notes of citrus hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has a very nice balance between the malts and hops.
