Copenhagen 11/5 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Dark can with a hovering bat looking hungrily at me.
Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized dense, beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a dark earthy odor mingling with alcohol and malts. Brown sugar, salty licorice, tobacco. Dark alcohol. Rich.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, a bit sticky and viscous, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong, rich sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness with a salty edge. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is dry and a bit boozy.
Potent Fruit Bat from Hell.
