Copenhagen 7/6 2022. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Very dark and gloomy can with a werewolf-like creature in the role as a Black Beast and a looming Ghost in the background.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a big beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles thin ut uneven and a bit lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intensewith a dar, malty and roasted odor mingling with licorice and alcohol. Dark roasted malts, caramel and toffee. Dark chocolate. Some dark alcohol - not too sweet. Salty licorice.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and with a genuine boozy burn. Sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet and with a prominent searing sensation.
Potent, rich and with an ABV I can feel.

Batch #12, peated edition. Aged for three months in Danish Stauning whiskey. Good brew for Scotch lovers as it delivers plenty of peatiness. Easy drinking for 11.1%, but the thin body and a one-dimensional character hurts the overall score. It failed to keep me interested after one-half of the bottle.
Worth trying, though. 8.25 euros at Mas que Cervezas beer shop in Madrid, Spain.
