Amager 24/12 2020. 33 cl bottle from my brother in law. Dark label in Ghost Brewings usual design this time with red writing .
Pours opaque dark brown with a small light beige head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor mingling with earthy, salty scents. Licorice root. Brown sugar. Wet soil, tobacco.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Quite the licorice bomb.
