Copenhagen 12/9 2021- 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé. Frb. F. Very dark can with a zombie in a Hawaii shirt approaching.
Pours hazy, opaque, orange with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of tropical fruit mingling with more subdued citric notes. Mango and papaya. Whiff of decay and alcohol. Sharp citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairy strong sweetness followed by a medium strong, a bit rough citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit searing. Lingers fo a while. Finish is dry with a boozy streak.
Fairly civilized and not as intimidating as the Zombie on the can.
