Frederiksberg 21/1 2026. 40 cl from tap at Tap 21, H.C. Ørstedsvej, Frb. C.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is dark, sweet and delicious with a light touch of alcohol. Roasted dark malts, toffee and brown sugar. Hints of smoke. Linoleum and musty notes. Whiff of dark alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, creamy, tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is quite dry.
Solid, classic Baltic Porter with a noticeable kick.
