Had this on tap at the Waterbury location. Served warmer and lower carbonation level than your typical BMC bar. Right away I was impressed. Great, underrated west coast style IPA from a place that deserves a little more attention. I'll definitely be back.

A nice mellow malt-hop aroma of pleasant citrus with hints of woodsy pine. The cask conditioned pint glass I enjoyed had a modest off white head and left a fair peppering of lace. The feel is unusually creamy but for a cask ale it offers sufficient carbonation for an ipa. The flavor again is mellow but full of earthy hops with a bit of a vanilla malt backbone that blends quietly. The buttery feel and blended hop taste make for an unusually good cask ale and very drinkable ipa.
