We've been able to visit this place twice as it's a bit of a drive for us. Small inside seating. Compared to the quality of the beer, the inside is mediocre. Their outside seating area is pretty drab and not attractive.

Speaking of quality of beer though... ... Wow! I can't think of any beers that I've tried that weren't well above average.

stopped for a couple of beers and to pick up some cans. I guess during COVID they moved their "taproom" space to a building down the alley that has a outdoor beer garden space so you can sit outside. they served draft beers out of the warehouse type building and then there were a some picnic tables outside. Bartenders were friendly. They mostly feature hazy IPAs but they had a Mild Ale that I had a pint of, and a couple other styles as well. I took home some cans of one of the IPA's, Legendary Weapons, which was pretty good.

Out of the way, very loud, with the bearded douche guy behind the counter who was pedantic and servile at the same time. No way in spite of the fact that they have good beer that this place is in business in two years. Beers just as good less than 5 miles from my home, why would I drive there to fell like an asshole.

Great taproom. Comfortable atmosphere.
Selection of their beers is very impressive.
They never cease to please and amaze.
Wish their beers were available across the country!

Great place for amazing NE style IPAs. Relaxed atmosphere, board games, ample space for an out of the way location, and frequent food trucks to keep you fed. Limited staff can seem somewhat overwhelmed at times, but that is almost to be expected when you have dozens lined up to fill their growlers. Always worth a visit.

AN interesting place, very busy for a Thursday afternoon. I do like that they separate the beer lines with the drink areas, so you can get your drinks and get out of the way. THe lines moved fairly well for how busy it was. Filled 6 growlers (the limit) and a few small pours quickly. They had a bunch of their own beer on tap, maybe 10-15 total, with a few bottles for take home as well. Bar tenders were pretty quick and fairly knowledgeable. The place was a typical craft brewery bar, with goofy shit on the walls, lots of beer based stuff, a lookout at the fermenters I think, etc. They also had a big bottle share night going on in front of us which I think is really cool for a brewery to do. Most of their beers are top notch quality, so that was also a plus.

Pleasant, hip vibe, with a laid back attitude, but super clean and professional space, tremendous design and eye for detail. The lovely beer selection is perhaps a bit APA/IPA heavy, but there were a couple solid dark options, and a handful of other style options. Food would be welcome, but this bustling spot was hopping on a Thursday night. Like the dogs - nice touch.

They really designed this place with purpose and vision. Brew Gentlemen has an awesome, higher-end yet mellow atmosphere in a quirky, rustic historical town that seems to be on the up-swing. The bar top is really cool, but next to the walk-up bar, seating itself on the L is very small. These guys are going to get very popular, and while they have plenty of seating elsewhere throughout the space, I don't think it will be adequate after another a year.

The bartender was very knowledgeable, and also had great taste in music. It was one dude serving approximately 40 people without a wait whatsoever--just absolutely professional and skillful pours while processing multiple growlers at once.

Beers here are phenomenal, all with an excellent, pillowy soft body and explosive aromas and flavors. Mostly IPAs and Pale Ales were pouring, but that's precisely what you should be coming here for, as they are stellar.

---

Wow, they really updated the flow in here since my last visit. I don't know when, but I'm stopping by in March 2022 and it looks like it's been this way for some time. The bar seems to have both been shortened and moved to the back wall to allow for more table seating as opposed to bar seating, as I predicted they'd need in this small space.

But when you enter now, it's very interesting: they take your name and you don't pay for anything until you leave, making for a uniquely smooth experience. You simply order by name and are served immediately, but in the same, unusually courteous and attentive way that's unlike any other brewery I've been to, save maybe Hill Farmstead, but unique to BG.

Went there on a busy Saturday afternoon but was fortunate enough to get a seat at the bar. The service is friendly and knowledgeable but it can take a little while to get a beer due to the crowd size. Very nice place to relax at, and while they don't have a large amount of beers on tap the beers on tap are top-notch.

Visited the taproom for the first time on a Sunday afternoon in Feb, 2017. 8 beers on tap, mostly an assortment of IPAs and pale ales, in addition to their flagship beers. Got tasters of all, and all were good, some were delicious (the NE IPAs in particular.) Took two growlers to DC with me and those beers were fantastic later in the week. The bartenders stayed busy filling growlers while we were there. Laid back vibe on the day we visited, but apparently the day before was a DIPA release and the place was packed. Brew Gentlemen should be high on the list to visit for any beer geeks in the Pittsburgh area. Best beer of 7 breweries I visited that weekend. A must visit.

Brew Gentleman is one incredible taproom… It is just stunning with a really relaxed, comfortable vibe. Sampled every beer on tap and they were all extremely well made. I was impressed across the board and it has become one of my favorites out of the 100+ breweries I have visited. About a two hour drive from Cleveland, just outside of Pittsburgh. Parking isn’t the greatest unless I missed something, but we went on a Sunday so it wasn’t bad and not busy at all. Service was great. I have no complaints at all with this place and can’t wait to make it back there. A true gem in the craft beer world!

Went here last night. Great looking spot, food truck outside. Plenty of cards and board games to keep ya busy. Had two different dipas that were both excellent. Wait time at the bar was very minimal, most times being helped within a few seconds. My only real complaint was it didn't seem like anyone wiped the tables down during the evening. Ours was sticky and had a pool of water on it. It was the only table available so we took the chairs. Definitely will return.

I've had nothing but good experiences here. It's one of the farthest breweries in Pittsburgh from my house yet it's the one I've been to the most.

I love this place. The room is dimly lit and moderately quiet, perfect for having a couple friends around and talking. The staff is great. They know their stuff and the uniform makes me feel like I've been thrown back in time. Overall, my experiences here are second to none and this place is somewhere that everyone from Pittsburgh should go to!

Easily in my top 2 Pittsburgh microbrewery. The beers are creative and of high quality. They turn over frequently. The service is great. They obviously love brewing.
