Copenhagen 23/4 2018. 33 cl little chubby bottle from Den Gamle Købmand, Skt. Annæ Plads, Kbh K. As "Brunehaut Bio Blanche Gluten Free". Drawing of a small Belgian Village with a magpie in front on the label.
Pours opaque, hazy muddy yellow with a small white head. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a lemonade-ish and citric odor. Citrus and orange with a light sugary touch.
Strong prickly carbonation. Thin, watery texture.
Flavor is a bit weak. Light sweetness followed by slightly stronger sourness. But overall rather watery. Almost no aftertaste.
Not my first (or second or third) choice for a Witbier.

Slightly hazy golden color with frothy white head. Aroma has sweet wheat notes with spices, mostly cloves. Taste is also on the sweet side with cloves and yeast spice, almost no bitterness, even the aftertaste has a residual sweetness that seems somehow artificial. Light to medium body with higher carbonation. Normally I enjoy witbiers but this one is sub-par.

Yellow, orange and slightly murky, sparkling, solid amount of white head. Lots of fruits, banana, apples and oranges, some hops, potatoes and lemon in aftertaste. Metallic and astringent, sweet at start, sour, bitter and dry later. Solid beer for summer months, nothing more.
