This beer randomly turned up at my import grocery store in Shanghai China. Decided to give it a shot.
A: The beer is an orangey gold color with very little carbonation. Head grew to a massive size very quickly. It was slightly off-white and stuck around for a long time.
S: Light fruits, apple peel, and a hint of honey lurking underneath a heavy yeasty character.
T: Comes on strong with lots of honey sweetness and an alcohol kick. Mellows out a bit after a couple of sips and there is a hint of some fruits peeking through but not much. Very sweet and boozy, but not in a bad way. You know what you're drinking for sure.
F: Almost feels uncarbonated. Smooth but almost a bit sticky going down.
Overall: A solid tripel. Nothing special, but if I can continue to get it, it does the trick in the absence of some other better versions of this style. Very drinkable and worth checking out if you like the style, but doesn't have much on some of the more well known Tripels.

A: Slightly Orange gold, mild carbonation with a almost creamy massive head.
S: Apricoty malt, slightly phenol yeast,.
T: Overly yeasty which creates a weird sort of phenolic tartness, which is unfortunately the dominant taste above apricot, The warmer it gets, the more this mellows out and the flavor rounds out.
M: Light tingling, tad astringet, light to medium body.
O: Decent above average.
