L: Pours a pale clear straw yellow with a large white foamy head and thick fingers of lacing around the glass.

A: Aroma is a little weak, hints of lemon, pine and weed.

T: Strong weedy hops followed by a medium bitterness and a hint of lemon.

F: Medium body smooth drinkable carbonation.

O: This is a very enjoyable and drinkable session IPA.

Dark honey colored body; thick and creamy white head. Dull, sweet aroma; honey. Sweet and bitter taste; clean; mild malt presence; spicy and resinous hop flavors. Medium body; crisp with a gentle bite; semi-dry mouthfeel.

This is a fine strong pale ale, and reminds me a bit like a west coast double IPA. It has a fine malt backbone and a crisp, sharp hop bite. Very nice...

a pretty good pale ale here. all the beer from these guys is excellent though, so no surprise really. its a little more robust than a lot of american pales, not sweet, but weighty from the grain. crystal clear light copper brassy color to this, good inch of head and awesome lacing, even in a shaker pint. it holds on too. smells thick on the hops, bitter and oily both, a west coast ipa vibe to it, pine and grapefruit at the same time, and a honey caramel malt base, bigger than normal for the style on all counts, and the flavor matches it. less sweetness than expected from the color, but very flavorful, fresh, cereal, toasty grain base. plenty of structure for all the hops, this is on the edge of being ipa, very colorado in that regard. a nice compliment to the steak salad up at mead street station, who does a nice job rotating cool beers in. as pale ales go, this is a robust one, maybe a little better suited to cold weather than warm, but i like the beer a lot, and the beat goes on for horse and dragon. still need to make it to the brewery...

A great IPA like pale ale, crispy and hoppy with some citra-like qualities in the aroma and taste, malt balance is there as well, a fine pale ale.

Body is super light, very well carbonated, with plenty of big fast rising bubbles plowing their way to the top of a yellow-tan, clear brew.

Light enough to have several of. Definitely a pale ale worth trying.
