Mild aromas of caramel-toffee malt and tropical hop are the first things to notice about this refreshing red lager. As you sip, you'll find these flavors carried through to the beer's light body, created by the all-local craft malt bill and balanced by its hop additions. That hoppiness lingers in the finish of this crisp brew, making for a beer you can enjoy in any weather!

Dark copper body; clear except for a ton of flocculation (yeast, I'm sure); decent head, dense and lasting. Pleasing smell of lightly roasted grain. Warm and rich malt flavor; toffee and caramel; dull roasted grain sweetness. Heavy body; rich and warm on the palate; semi-dry.

Well, the particulates were a bit of a surprise, but settled down as the beer sat between sips. A side-show distraction, really. No, this beer is a fine, roasty, malt-forward marvel overall. I'd gladly drink this beer again.
