This year's Winter Lights is a Cascadian dark ale, perfect to sip on as we bring out lights to counter shorter days! Heavy notes of roast and caramel from Troubadour's Moonlight Antero malt meld with slight nuttiness and toffee from biscuit malts, creating a hearty foundation for the big piney and floral hop characteristics of Centennial, Bravo, El Dorado and Mosaic hop additions. All of these flavors come together into a rich, dark brew that packs a punch.

This is actually pretty solid taste wise, not very hoppy to me but the malt is good and otherwise unoffensive I just HATE how watery and thin it feels to me.

16 oz can. Pours dark brown with a very small off white head that is a small collar that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is roasted malts with piney hops.
The flavor is roast malts with piney hops and a touch of fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with very little carbonation.
Overall, a decent old school black IPA.
