Had at the brewery itself during a visit. Was expecting an English brown like Sam Smith's but the beer looks almost like a stout it's so dark. Smell is that of some roasted malts. The taste follows along more with the visuals than the aroma. It's very roasty and has a nice caramel note to it. Very sweet malts with no real hops. The body is thinner than expected. Overall a nice session dark brown ale.
