I love this beer. I order at least one every time I visit Flytrap.

Poured on-tap at the brewpub and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a bright, crystal clear, honey gold coloring, with a foamy, clingy, white head. Nose of bubblegum, berry sweetness, candi sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and all spice. Flavors are herbal and spice forward, with a grassy undertone. Bready backbone, with sugary fruit notes throughout. Full bodied, but light and crisp. Heavily spiced aftertaste, with a slightly cloying, spiced finish.

A: frothy half inch head, heavy lacing. Hazy gold.

S: citrus pine hops smell with just a hint of banana and cloves, definitely an American take on this Belgian style. Pleasantly refreshing.

T: the taste follows the nose. Not as bitter as I've come to expect from hoppy american beers; slight hoppiness in the body that leaves a clean, semi sweet aftertaste wrought with the classic belgian esters.

F: less carbonated than most Belgian tripels, and rolls over the tongue nicely. Fills the mouth without overwhelming.

Overall, a delicious decidedly American take on the style. Definitely worth a try, would recommend to anyone, hop lover or not.
