Had this on draft at the Robin Hood Restaurant with lunch meal.
LOOK: In a 16 0unce pint glass. Dark and clear with strong red hues, Small white head, minimal side glass lace.
Aroma: Mostly malts, with some sweet dark cherry fruit.
TASTE: Sweet malts, hints of aromatic hops.
Moderate carbonation,
Second time at this restaurant, both meals were quite good and this Red Ale complimented the meal.

Of all the year-round offerings I had here, this one impressed me the most.
A- Dark reddish-chestnut with a small, off-white, foamy head with good retention.
S- Malty sweet. Toffee balanced by lively fruit.
T- Big and malty up front, a little sweet fruit. Lightly smokey finish with a pleasant slightly fruity bitterness that builds late on the finish to balance the lingering sweetness.
M- Medium body, dry texture, soft carbonation
D- This beer just the style justice. I know their beer menu lists a different beer as one to have with a burger or steak, but I think this is a fantastic burger beer. Nice job.
I also was given a sample of this on nitrogen. Interesting how it brought out some different flavors, but surprisingly I like the regular, carbonated version better.
